The Moorland Hotel is situated on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park with unspoilt views across the moors to the sea beyond. Foot/bridle paths lead from the hotel over the moorland.

It is the ideal centre for touring this beautiful and very interesting part of South Devon, including the beaches of the South Hams, beautiful Dartmoor, and the coastal city of Plymouth (just 20 minutes away) with all its maritime history.
